5.Encoding conventions
- Ordering. The registry order (§4) is the canonical serialization order.
- Serialization. A conforming JSON encoding maps
id → value; unknown ids MUST be
ignored by consumers (forward compatibility) and SHOULD be logged.
- Interpolation. Between keyframes, continuous dimensions interpolate independently;
hyper conditions do not interpolate as values (nearest / hold). A consumer SHOULD
engage/release the contact solve smoothly across a keyframe transition (ramp its
correction weight), but the condition itself is discrete.
- Missing dimensions. A producer MAY omit dimensions it cannot estimate; consumers
MUST substitute the registry
default.
